XOTA BREWING COMPANY BEERS
OSSIPEE MOUNTAIN PALE ALE
We named this beer to give thanks to the town I came from and has been so welcoming to us! This pale is a very balanced ale with a medium body. An easy drinker with notes of caramel and light bitterness.
Officium is definitely an easy drinker. Made for our hop lovers this beer was double dry-hopped and has a nice citrus aroma. Light bodied with heavy notes of tangerine is what you will get from the first sip to the last.
RYE'S AGAINST THE MACHINE
Rye's Against the Machine is a Rye IPA that uses both malted rye and flaked rye for its unique flavor and smooth body. That coupled with two of our favorite hops Amarillo and Centennial giving this beer a nice citrus aroma. Think Marmalade on rye toast!
OUT OF FOCUS
Suggested to us by a local beer photographer, we took our traditional cream ale Sunfire and added 42 pounds of fresh local Blackberry puree to it giving us this crisp clean, slightly tart cold fermented fruited ale
Named after one half of the XOTA duo, this beer has a beautiful red color, containing notes of caramel up front and ends with a nice subtle smoky flavor from the cherry wood smoked malt.
A WEE BIT MOORE
This Scottish Ale weighing in at 8% ABV is known for its malty sweetness, low bitterness and a aroma of caramel, biscuit, and plum. Sneaky Strong we'll give you a wee bit, but you'll want more.
This Mexican Beauty is a Horchata inspired sweet stout, brewed with a touch of lactose for body. This balances out the notes of dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla and sweet cinnamon. It was brewed in collaboration with an amateur home brewer for Portland's Pro/AM event during beer week.
As the other half of the XOTA duo, this beer is a nod to this one's personality. A full-bodied stout with up front notes of coffee and chocolate and a smooth finish. This one can be enjoyed any time of day.
